Note to our readers: Local laws may prevent jetskis and personal watercraft to be launched from the beach. Check the local regulations before launching your watercraft. In coastal areas jetskis may only be able to be launched in the Intracoastal Waterway and not off of a beach. This and other regulations, as well as the rising cost of liability insurance has limited the number of jet ski rental companies in North Carolina.
