Curtis & MaggiLu Tucker, founders of Atlantic Coast Boating
SailMiami.com is an online marine resource & magazine with one goal in mind: to be a helpful part of the coastal community. "For the boaters, by the boaters, of the boaters," is the approach we take towards bringing our readers clear, useful information that is easy to navigate. SailMiami.com is the very first website we launched in 1999, from the salon of our catamaran anchored in Biscayne Bay. Over the years we have added information to cover the entire US East Coast & Bahamas, and it is from these beginnings that the overall mission of Atlantic Coast Boating Magazines took shape.

About Atlantic Coast Boating Magazines
For Whatever Floats Your Boat™

Founded in February 2000, Atlantic Coast Boating Magazines are a suite of marine, boating & watersports websites designed to provide all the information a person needs to have fun on, or near, the water along the United States east coast and the Bahamas.

When we started our first online magazine, www.SailMiami.com, we were searching online for boating resources in the South Florida area for our own boat, "Fellowship," and found nothing relevant. We then set out to create a website that represented the vibrant community of South Florida boaters, sailors & watersports enthusiasts. Five years later we have added boating, watersports & fishing information for the entire United States eastern seaboard. Our magazines are published in English and Spanish in order to serve as many people as possible who wish to spend time on or near the water.

We consider it a privilege and a joy to be a positive force in the marine industry, and we do everything in our power to meet your marine marketing needs, from listings in our marine directory, reporting on trends, issues and events in the boating community, to specializing in building websites for the marine market.

It's our pleasure to be of service!

Cold Water Affecting Fishing Destinations in South Florida
Some fishing guides must adjust their fishing destinations to take advantage of the fish that can handle the colder temperatures.

Heading South for the Winter
Heading south for the winter is looking better than ever. With fuel prices to heat homes steadily going up, and the “global climate change” keeping the trend of temperatures steadily going down, getting colder with each season, heading to Ft. Lauderdale, Miami or even farther, the Florida Keys looks and sounds better than ever. Bringing [...]

Yacht Charters
The season is coming and the weather is right in south Florida for sailing, fishing, diving or just any kind of watersports you are looking to splash into. The weather got cold really early up north in the U.S. bringing the “snowbirds” down a little sooner, and we are also getting prepared for the tourists [...]

Fishing in South Florida
One of my favorite aspects about Florida is that some water sports activity or another is always “in season.” Check it out here: Miami watersports or Ft Lauderdale watersports. Most water sports are always “in season” in Florida for me, at least mid Florida and south to the Keys. And then the Bahamas are just [...]
